Catherine Bension, President and CEO, joined SRI in 1997 following 23 years of client marketing and agency management experience. As CEO, she oversees all aspects of the company's search and consulting practices. Over the past 10 years Catherine has been a significant contributor to the company’s growth and reputation for integrity and excellence among the marketer and agency communities. A nationally recognized authority on agency searches and relationship management, Catherine has been a source for countless industry speeches and workshops. In 2002 she was selected by AdAge as one of “20 Women to Watch.”

A California native, Catherine began her career on the client side working for Columbia Pictures, American Movie Classics and MCA Recreation (Universal Studios) where she was Chief Marketing Officer. Her tenure on the agency side included account management assignments at DDB, FCB, Ogilvy, Ayer and Campbell and Wagman.

Catherine holds an MBA degree from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.When not on the road or working in the office, she spends her spare time managing the men in her family, Marc (her husband), and her sons Jake (16) and Bryan (13).
